My 5 1/2 year old son wanted this toy for Christmas. There were no reviews at the time and much to our disappointment, we bought it for him. Within a week of owning the toy, the arms that cover the vulcan no longer stayed together. There aren’t any broken or missing pieces, but they just don’t stay together for whatever reason. This toy held my son’s attention for about 5-10 minutes each time he played with it and there weren’t many times. Now, the shooter no longer works properly so he can’t even propel the car the distance it needs to go in order to play the game. It was a total waste of money and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.
My five year old wanted this for xmas so badly. But this toy held his interest for a shorter time than anything else he got. The game mechanic was difficult for him to master. There was very little variety in what you could do. And he definitely needed our help setting it up and operating it.
I recently purchased this toy for my 5 year old. This toy is definitely not worth the money. It doesn’t work. the “volcano” would not stay closed, and the car shot over the toy instead of hitting the back board and coming down the ramp. On top of all that, the car that comes with the toy doesn’t even fit down the ramps. It gets stuck. I purchased this toy on a Friday and returned it the following Monday. Another thing to keep in mind is that it is VERY loud. It has a plastic disc that spins around and you are supposed to hit the targets illuminated on the disc. Each time we shot at the disc, it would just repeat the game menu instead of starting a game. Don’t bother buying this toy.
